Houseium’s new track “Grimey” has been in the works for two years. Finally released on October 28 on Fantom Freq’s Thiccfreqness Records, the track is his hardest and dirtiest track yet. The gnarly bass sounds both dark and playful at the same time. Punctured by screechy stabs, the hard vocals lead into an eerie and unexpected break. After the tension builds with echoing vocal chops and swooping risers, the song drops into a dirty, groovy banger. Even though it took Houseium three times longer than usual to finish the song, the wait was well worth it. Houseium wishes everyone a “Grimey” Halloween!
