After an intense year of saying yes to the unknown, reflecting on risky decisions that were made, and growing from these experiences, Brianna Tam produces and releases “Bioluminescence,” the epic and inspiring finale to her upcoming all-cello album.
Inspired by a dream that seemed to serve as a lesson, the pairing of the glittering staccato parts dancing on top of the the warm-sweeping cello melodies in “Bioluminescence” are intended to evoke feelings of light and fulfillment from the listener, even in places of darkness. The music paints the image of grand, yet, gentle rolling waves on the ocean, which – in Brianna’s dream – was her symbol for light, with the dream fading out to the sound of the repeated phrase, “Bring the ocean to you.”
