“What will you have written on your grave?,” posed in ‘All We Got Is Time’, is less about death than life; a challenge to be our truest selves in our limited years on this floating rock. Perched on Venice Beach in late 2019, co-writers Tom Sless & Ethan Buckner, The Minnesota Child, pondered this fundamental question. Shortly after, our lives – and the world – turned upside down. ‘Time’ is an anthem born through personal & collective hardships of the pandemic, produced in LA, Oakland, New York, Portland, & Fort Worth.
