Audio Mixing is the process by which multiple sounds are combined and blended into one complete sound or track. This process includes EQ, Compression, Reverb, and many more other processes to achieve a particular sound and feel.
MASTERING
Mastering is the final step in audio production. During mastering, a track is prepared for audio distribution by fine tuning elements in the track and optimizing it for playback across different platforms such as streaming, radio, CD’s and more. This is typically done through processes such as EQ, Compression, Saturation, Limiting, and more.

The Process

01. Assessment
After the order form is completed and submitted, Mirror House will review and contact the client to confirm the details and receive the first payment installment. A Google Drive folder will then be set up and shared among the Mirror House Team and client to transfer content.

02. Project Submission
Please do not send stems with reverb or delays printed on the instrument/vocal tracks. Print reverb and delays on separate bus stems. Send the instrument/vocal stems DRY. Only print automation to a stem for an absolute Fade Out/In.
Protools or Ableton sessions can be sent in full. Ableton: COLLECT ALL AND SAVE before zipping the project and sending.
Protools: SAVE COPY AS. Select all audio files to save in the project before zipping the copy and sending.

03. Delivery
With the client’s satisfaction upon completion, the client will be directed back to the make their second payment installation. After receiving, Mirror House will place the final product in the Google Drive folder and notify the client.
